Which printer should I buy?
Our Pick: Zebra ZD421... but it depends on your budget
All of our printers are 300 dpi, which provides a very clear and detailed label. This allows more text, smaller text, and a better displayed logo.
We are currently compatible with three different printers:
- Zebra ZD420
- Zebra ZD421
- Bixolon XD5
The Bixolon XD5 comes in two different configurations; one with a wifi connection and a peeler attachment, and the other only has an ethernet connection. The XD5 is a very economical option that can suit the needs for most businesses, but the initial setup and any troubleshooting will require more time and technical how-to.
The Zebra ZD420 is no longer supported or produced by Zebra, but if you already have a compatible one then we should still work just fine with it.
The Zebra ZD421 is the newer model that replaced the ZD420 and there isn't much of a difference between the two. They both come with bluetooth, wifi, and ethernet connection options. The ZD421 is praised for its ease of use and reliability. It is certainly a workhorse that will require very little maintenance and rarely has any downtime (a rarity amongst any kind of printer).
